ABOUT LILAH
I’m Lilah Weisman, and I’m an actor, singer, and director currently based in Chicago and also local to Los Angeles.
During and since my time at Northwestern University, where I graduated with a major in theatre and a minor in computer science, I’ve performed in, directed, and helped produced more than 10 new plays and musicals. But I’ve also self-produced Shakespeare in a gymnasium-turned-church. From the very old to the very new (and the stuff in between, which is okay, too)—I’m obsessed with telling stories to obsess over.
Professionally, I’ve acted with Door Shakespeare, Glass Apple Theatre, and Blank Theatre Company. In school and beyond, I’ve become a go-to girl for the roles of rebellious teenage daughter, erudite-type-A twenty-something, and just about every version of 18+ to play young you can imagine.
I care very deeply about art that gives a gift and art that’s accessible. I also care about solving extra-hard sudoku, speculative fiction, and your favorite outdoor spot in Chicago (where is it? Reach out. I’m making a list).
