While I started performing against my will (see: Tropicana ennui), my equally stubborn mother eventually made me join the school chorus in 3rd grade, which I loved.

Then I became too stubborn to quit, and moved from Los Angeles to Chicagoland to study theatre at Northwestern University. I’ve worked on more than 10 new plays and musicals, self-produced Shakespeare in a gymnasium-turned-church, and become known for my sharp comedic timing, emotional depth, and facility with complex language. I’ve become a go-to girl for the roles of rebellious teenage daughter, erudite-type-A twenty-something, and just about every version of 18+ to play young you can imagine.

I act mostly because I obsess over stories want to tell more of them. I’m also obsessed with extra-hard sudoku, speculative fiction, anything miniature, and collective cultural experience.
